And now the post you've all been waiting for...

So much for my more frequent postings leading up to the wedding - i guess i got distracted!!!

Well here it is now so you can quit your complaining...JOSH!

So the wedding went really well - better than i could have possibly imagined! After raining for several days leading up to the date we were greeted with...no rain! Truely a blessing from God. And i'll admit, the storm clouds in the sky gave us an AMAZING backdrop for the photos!

Big thanks to the bridal party, our family, friends and everyone who made our day a very special and memorable one.

The photo's aren't uploading at the moment but i'll try again later (",)

70 days to go....and counting!

So as you can see...I am very excited about the upcoming wedding! All the plans have been made and most things have been booked...most things - although we have flights home, we still need a flight to queensland for the honeymoon!!

The girls have their first dress fitting next thursday and we're having a hair trial the wednesday after that. Scott had his first attempt at making our wedding cake on tuesday night...it didn't go as well as he had hoped but he has plenty of time to keep practicing (and plenty of people who have offered to eat the cake!!)

We also started our wedding preparation with Graeme last night. answered all the legal questions and went through the marraige service - it has made it so real but it's all very exciting!

Will be sure to keep everyone updated on what's happening on a more regular basis!

Until next time....keep smiling (",)

Back at work...

and not happy about it!

I have been back for nearly 6 hours and i am so very ready for another holiday!

To add insult to injury, Scott has another 2 weeks holidays!!! Life is so not fair!

We both had a wonderful Christmas/New Year break (although Scott had to work on New Years Eve and then drove down the coast - he got there at about 3am!!)

Had a lovely relaxing holiday staying with my parents at Lake Tabourie. Spent some time with friends and family, did some reading and got nice tans! Not much swimming though as the water felt about 6 degrees!!!

On the news front - we have decided to move the wedding forward....to APRIL 28th!! That's only 8 months earlier than we were originally planning...heaps of time!!!! ARGH!!!

Gotta go - the work piled up while i was away and it's gonna take me about a week to catch up!

So until next time...have a good one (",)

Merry Christmas to all....

As this year draws to a close we would like to wish all who read our blog

A very Merry Christmas and a happy and fun-filled New Year

We would also like to remind everyone not to lose the real meaning of Christmas in all the excitment of shopping and presents and food

Remember that Jesus is the real reason for the season -

His birth to a virgin mother, in a lowly manger in Bethlehem.

His visitors of angels, shepherds and wise men.

His life, His ministry, His death on a cross

All so we could be saved from our sins.

What an amazing God, Father and Saviour we have!

Lake Tabourie - 28-31 December & 2-5 January - YeeHaa!

I thought i should actually write something in a posting today instead of just putting up pretty pictures! So if you look at this over the next few days and your coming to Tabazza let me know when you'll be down.
Also, to everyone going on Summer School, The Real Thing or one of the many Beach Missions, you are amazing for giving up your holidays to spread the good news of our Lord, we hope you have a great time and that God makes your time away both fruitful for you and those you are ministering to.
Until next time...

Only 1 week to go...I am so excited!!!

Well he's not mine....

Jesus is the reason for the season.

"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."

Matthew 1:21
